[00:01:05] Welcome back to part four of our five part series on goal setting. Today we're ta gonna talk about how to actually achieve those goals that you.
[00:01:14] According to a study out of the University of Scranton, every year, millions of people create goals or New year's resolutions, but only 19% actually achieve them. And you have the best of intentions. You are really excited about your goals at first, but then the excitement fades or you get distracted.
[00:01:34] It's not enough to set goals and hope that you'll execute them. Flaw honestly. It's totally normal. It doesn't mean that you've completely failed. Your goals are these big, overarching desires to achieve something you really want. If you don't go for your one, for your run one day or a few days, that doesn't mean that your goal of running a marathon goes completely out the window.
[00:02:02] Consistency in working towards our goals does not mean perfect.
[00:02:07] Well, it's totally normal to slack off on our goals a little bit. There are some things that you can do to help you stay focused and keep moving forward, but why is it hard to stick to our goals in the first place? If you've been following the series and downloaded the goal setting worksheet, which I will link to in the show notes at nicole k speaks.com/podcast/zero five, then you've set some pretty awesome goals for yourself.
[00:02:38] But the truth is there are so many things that will get in the way, right? Maybe you don't have a clear enough vision or why. Maybe you're just working on. Goals, and you're taking some action, but you're just not really attached to them or you're just not really feeling super aligned to them. And maybe again, you just don't have a clear enough vision or why towards why you're working on this.
[00:03:07] Maybe you're relying too much on motivation, the reality. We are not always going to be motivated, right? We're not always gonna be motivated to speak up in meetings when we know that we should, in order to get that visibility, to get the promotion, we might not always be motivated to get out of bed in the morning and go for that run because it's so nice and warm and comfy in our beds.
[00:03:34] And so we might just be thinking that, oh, I'm gonna set these really awesome goals and I'm just always going to be motivated, and that's just not. And maybe again, you're just trying too hard to be perfect. If I'm not perfect right outta the gate at this thing, then I'm not doing it. But really the opposite is true, and this is me talking to me right now that I.
[00:03:57] Tend to really want to be really good at something if I'm starting something new and if I'm not, or if I don't think that I can do it perfectly, my perfectionism gets in the way and then I just don't wanna do it at all. Right? And then I just kind of freeze, and then I just don't do anything. Maybe you have a fear, a failure and not pursuing a goal is different than just quitting, because if you don't try, you can't fail.
[00:04:26] So if you just don't try to work on your goal, then you can't fail. I'm just not trying. And you can strategically choose to stop working on a goal because it's not the right goal for you anymore, and that's okay, but just not pursuing the goal because you're afraid of failure. That's a great way to obviously not get very far with your.
[00:04:51] And I get that failing is hard and failing feels really uncomfortable, especially if you're someone who has been so accustomed to performing at a really high value or performing at a really high level all the time, or you know, just finding really great success in your life. And so if you get to a place where you're trying something, And or you're just trying to up level yourself and you're finding that you're just not seeing that success coming as quickly, that can feel, again, really uncomfortable, especially if this is a type of goal that is a little bit more public or a little bit more visible, right?
[00:05:33] So whether it's a goal that you're working on at work in your jobs and your team and your boss and everybody else, Watching this and they're monitoring this in some way because again, they can, because of just the type of goal that it is. Or again, if like you're driving towards. A promotion or trying to get a new job or expand the scope of your current role and just things aren't going well.
[00:05:59] Maybe you make a mistake or something like that. And again, that's a little bit more public. People see that a little bit more, and just that fear of failure and being rejected or judged by our peers is a real thing, right? It's a real thing. But on the other side, you could also be fearful of. What did I just say?
[00:06:23] Fear of success. Yes. That is a thing. If you can imagine, like if you are trying to get to this next level, you're trying to get to this big place, this big next place in your life, in your career, and what happens if you do, what happens? What happens to your life? What happens to your daily routines? What happens to your friends?
[00:06:43] What happens if you find success? A little piece of you, or maybe a big piece of you needs to change in order to meet that new successful vision of yourself. And that in and of itself is scary, right? You can leave behind people that you loved, you can leave behind people that have supported you so far in your life and your career.
[00:07:07] And so what does that mean for your relationships? If. Get to this next level of success. That is something that I would say I'm definitely more fearful of is my fear of success and what that could look like and what that means about me and who the heck am I to strive to get to this next level in my life.
[00:07:28] Right? Um, this comes from just a place again, of, of shame and of judgment, not so all that different from that fear of failure. We just talked. And again, this is a real reason why people stall out or a reason why people decide not to pursue certain goals is because they're just scared of what it'll mean if they succeed.
[00:07:52] You also might just be too impatient. A lot of times these timelines are frankly arbitrary, right? Especially if they're goals that, you know, we ourselves are working towards. And this isn't something that's imposed on us. Our boss or our leaders or our customers or anything like that. This is just something that you're striving towards yourself.
[00:08:15] Remember, your timeline is arbitrary, completely arbitrary. The universe might have different plans for you, or there could just be things out of your control that is going to impact this timeline, and so sometimes we again just. Just too impatient about how things are unfolding, and I'm definitely, definitely guilty of this.
[00:08:36] And I was just talking with a client this week about this arbitrary timeline we've put on our quote unquote success. And she even admitted to me today, you know, I think I was just being a little naive, or maybe even a little arrogant about the fact that I thought that I could achieve this thing in such a short period of time, and I'm realizing.
[00:08:58] That things just take time. It takes time to unfold, and that's just so true about so many things. You might be trying to work on too many goals at once. Again, we've talked about this idea of just choosing a few focus areas and a few goals to work on, and maybe just a few actions to work on in order to achieve these goals and maybe.
[00:09:21] Just spreading yourself too thin, right? Because I'm sure you don't wanna just check the box on these goals. You want to actually achieve them with quality, right? So maybe you're just trying to do too much at once and maybe we just need to, to reevaluate how many things we're trying to focus on at one time.
[00:09:42] And maybe it just isn't the right time to focus on that goal, right? Maybe if we just look at your life today or look at your career today, just kind of what's going on, maybe this is just not the right time to focus on that goal. And I'm certainly someone that I have lots of goals. Believe me, I have lots of big plans and big goals for myself and for my career and all the different.
[00:10:05] That I wanna do. And I like literally have to sit on my hands and be like, this is a really awesome goal, but it's not something that I'm gonna work on right now. Cause it just doesn't make sense for where I'm at in my life to focus on this particular goal. So I'm gonna put a pin in that. I'm gonna plop that out a couple years from now and we'll get there.
[00:10:26] Right? And so sometimes we just have to think about, you know, is this the right time for this goal? And it may or may. Maybe you're not being flexible enough with your goals. Remember, our goals should be fluid and our goals should be allowed to breathe and expand and contract and move around because that's what our lives do, right?
[00:10:48] So maybe you're just being too rigid with how you're achieving this goal. Again, the timeline that you're trying to drive. And maybe you're just sticking your feet in where you don't really need to. Maybe if you just let go of that need to control so much, or just be super, super stubborn about those goals, maybe if you can just let go of that a little bit and allow your goals to breathe, maybe you'll find that you'll start making more progress.
[00:11:17] Maybe you're chasing someone else's goal, right? Maybe this is something that's. Something that's not super important to you and you realize that you're at, you're chasing your partner's goal or your friend's goal, or your sister's goal or, or your boss's goal, right? And it's just not something that you're super interested in or care about that much.
[00:11:40] And this really happens a lot at work because a lot of times our goals at work are imposed on us, right? Like they're trickled down. From the top, and unless you feel really committed and really bought into what it is that your company is doing and working and working towards your goals that hopefully align to those, align to the, to that, to those broader goals at the company, you might not feel super motivated or super interested in pursuing those goals, right?
[00:12:15] So you just, you might not end. Working towards them in the speed or with the quality again, that you would work towards a goal that maybe you had a part in setting, which is why it is so important that if you have a team, that you really engage them in setting their own setting, either their own, their own team's goals or their own individual goals to be working towards.
[00:12:39] And I recognize there's just, there's, there's just some things, right? That, that your company is gonna say, Hey, listen, you gotta work on this thing, right? Because this is the direction that we're taking the company and this, so this is a goal for us. Therefore, it's a goal for you and for your team, right?
[00:12:54] So I, I get that, but the more you can engage your employees in this conversation on like, how do you wanna achieve this goal if our, the goal for the team is to generate more renewal? For the organization. Well then how do we get there? How do you think we should get there? Especially if your employees are are closest to the work, right?
[00:13:15] We should be engaging them in setting team goals and hopefully some of their own individual goals.
[00:13:21] Maybe your identity and your worth is just way too tied up into this particular goal and. That's not so wild to think that that would be possible. Right? We put so much emphasis as a society on the work that we do. I mean, like think about it. If you're out at the grocery store and you meet somebody, you know, the first thing you say, oh, what is it that you do for work?
[00:13:43] Right? And so it's not, not so far out there to think that we would be putting a ton of emphasis on our goals and on the person that we're trying to become. Now, on one hand, Really identifying with these goals in this vision is really important, but we also have to remember that we are more than our jobs.
[00:14:07] We are more than the weight on the scale. We are more than all of the titles and credentials and all of the awards that we could possibly get in the world. Right? We are way more than that. I mean, is that a part of us? Sure. Absolutely. I don't wanna diminish. The really awesome things that we're doing out there in the world to be productive members of society, contributing to society in positive ways, right?
[00:14:32] But if we think that our salary is what determines our worth or our job title or any anything else. If we think that that is the only thing that our identity is and our worth is good for, then we are definitely having a problem here. We need to kind of untangle that a bit and recognize and step back and recognize that we are a whole human being and that there's more to us than just these few goals that you've written down on a worksheet.
[00:15:01] So I give you permission, not that you need my. or not that you need anybody's permission, but if you need some permission, here's permission to take off that pressure.
[00:15:12] Maybe you're focused too much on the output or the outcome of the goal and not enough value on the practice itself. So if we've been using our example of running a marathon just because. You don't run the marathon in the time that you want, or maybe, who knows, maybe you get injured and you don't run the marathon at all.
[00:15:37] Or I don't know, there's a global pandemic and the Boston Marathon is canceled, right? Um, there could be so many things that could happen that just prevents you from reaching the ultimate goal of running the marathon, but that doesn't take away. All of the training that you've done and all of the running and the other races that you've done leading up to prepare for that, you're still a runner.
[00:15:58] You've still achieved things, right? You've still done some really awesome things as a result of that goal, but if you're putting too much emphasis on what that outcome or what that output would be, yeah, you might fall off and not feel. As motivated or as excited about the goal anymore. Cause you're just, again, putting way too much pressure on yourself.
[00:16:23] Maybe you don't have a way to measure it properly, so you can't tell if you're making progress or not. Right. And we feel. Accomplished and we feel like we are making progress. If we can like look to certain metrics and feel like, okay, yes, I am moving along. I might not feel like I'm moving along, but I'm actually making some really great progress here.
[00:16:43] So what are those measurements or what are those things that will signal to you that you are making some really great progress? Maybe your environment isn't set up to achieve these goals, right? There's so many things about our environment that really impact our ability to be productive, get things done, and just enjoy the process, right?
[00:17:07] And so maybe you just don't have the right, the right setup to achieve what it is that you're, that you're trying to achieve.
[00:17:13] This is a big one. Maybe you're not giving yourself enough. Rest is part of the success formula. Rest is not a dirty four letter word. It's not about, oh, I'll rest when I'm dead kind of a thing. No rest is part of the success formula. We know that sleep, that is how our bodies repair all of the damage that we do to it during the day, right?
[00:17:42] That's how we are able to wake up and feel refreshed and. Great cognitive abilities during the day because we've given our ourselves the ability to rest. So yes, be really excited and all in on your goals and make some amazing progress. But that does not mean running around 24 7 trying to drive towards these things.
[00:18:07] Part of the success formula is baking in that rest. And finally, maybe one of the reasons why you aren't making more progress on your goals, or maybe you're falling off on, on focusing on your goals, and it might just because you forget to celebrate your wins. Because it kind of back to the example around, you know, maybe you don't have a way to measure it properly.
[00:18:33] Well, if you're not measuring it properly, you're probably also not celebrating the little milestones that you're hitting. Right. And the celebration could just be a little wiggle in your chair as a celebration, as a dance, which is what I do, a lot of times I'm doing a little wiggle in my chair whenever it's like, oh yeah, that worked out really.
[00:18:51] Or maybe even it's just writing in your gratitude journal that night about, Hey, this conversation went really, really well, or this thing today went well. I'm so grateful for the workout that I did today, even when I didn't feel like doing it right. So remember to celebrate those little wins, like especially when we are in the thick of trying to achieve something really big and hard and challeng.
[00:19:17] So don't forget to celebrate your wins because when we are in the middle of the thick of things and we're really going after these big, meaty. Challenging goals that we've set for ourselves, it can be really easy to forget again, to celebrate those wins, especially if we are top performers. We're really driven and ambitious.
[00:19:40] We are often just, okay, check the box, did that thing and moving on. And we really do just need to take a pause to recognize that, hey, we're making some progress, we're doing some good things here. And that in of itself can, can help us continuing to move forward, especially at those times when things get tough.
[00:20:01] So go back to that goal setting worksheet and really look at the goals that you set. And maybe you need to do another round of editing and refining. And sometimes it just, it takes a few edits to get the right vision and the right goal set. And to be perfectly honest, I'm somebody that typically starts doing my reflection in my vision setting, part of this whole goal setting process a couple of months ahead of time, right?
[00:20:26] So let's say we. You know, I'm doing this for, I'm setting annual goals at the beginning of the year, like, like in January, right. I typically start reflecting on the year and setting a vision, kind of like mid, mid-October, because I just know me and it just takes me a little while to like, to noodle on these things to help, to let the, the reflection and the vision kind of simmer a little bit.
[00:20:51] I write out a couple of different drafts I might. Um, a couple of sessions with my own coach in order to kind of talk through the goals that I'm, that I'm thinking through for the next year. So when I'm not saying, oh, well, you're totally screwed for this year because you didn't start the school setting process back in, back in October, but just know that it, it can take a little while.
[00:21:12] It just, it takes some edits. Again, it can take you getting out there and actually working on the goals to realize if it's the right goal for you or not. So, Drop some of this pressure to be absolutely perfect or to be making certain, hitting certain milestones, or to be making certain progress by a certain time, and just go back and take a look and just, and just make sure that you've, you've processed.
[00:21:39] Okay. So with all of those things coming at you and trying to d derail your progress, is there any hope? I mean, only 19% of people actually achieve your, their goals. So is there anything that we can do? Of course the answer is yes. There is something that we can do and. When you are finalizing your goals, you're editing your goals, one of the questions I want you to ask yourself is, how do I self sabotage myself?
[00:22:08] What is my MO on that?
[00:22:10] If there's ever a time in your life where you know that you're self sabotaging or you're holding yourself back or whatever, How do you do that? What is typically your MO there? So what we're going to do next in this whole goal setting exercise is to anticipate what the potential roadblocks to success could be for us, right?
[00:22:35] So if your goal, for instance, is to run a marathon, and your action might be to run a certain number of miles each morning before the rest of the house wake. What could be some roadblocks to succeeding there? It might be too cold in the morning, and that's certainly, certainly for me. Like if it's too cold, like I want to just stay snuggled up in my bed.
[00:22:59] So that could totally be a potential roadblock. Maybe your neighborhood doesn't have safe sidewalks on them, or maybe you're too tired from the night before, or maybe you just don't like running outside. I know. I don't like running on treadmills. I would prefer to run it if I'm gonna run, which I've already said that.
[00:23:19] I'm not a runner. I don't prefer to run, but if I'm gonna run, I'm gonna do it. I'd rather do it outside, like I do not wanna do it on a treadmill. Maybe you have a standing just early morning meeting or commitment that might make it difficult for you to run in the mornings, or maybe you have to get the kids ready for school.
[00:23:41] Maybe you get injured, that could certainly be, um, a roadblock for you, right? And so the more you can anticipate the roadblocks you might run into or the things that might trip you up along the way, the more you can try your best to prevent some of these things from happening. Or at least having a backup plan or when these things do pop up, right?
[00:24:04] So the next part to this, then, once you've identified those road. What are the habits that you need to create, or the habits that you need to break in order to achieve these goals? What are the boundaries that you need to put into place? And who do you need help from, whether it's at home or at your job.
[00:24:23] So if we continue to use this example of running a marathon, do you need to create a bedtime routine to prepare yourself for the morning? Do you need to set out your running shoes and your clothes? Do you need to make the kids kids lunches the night before? Do you need to have them make their own lunches?
[00:24:41] Do you need to have your partner help you with something? With some of these things, right? Do you need to run in the park or run or drive to a different neighborhood? If your community isn't a safe place for you to run regularly in, do you need to run on a treadmill at the gym or buy your own treadmill?
[00:24:59] Would that, would that help overcome some of these road? What are some of the habits that you need to break, do you need to get to bed earlier? Do you need to stop looking at your phone in bed? And that's definitely me for a long time. You know, for a long time I was really good about not breaking, about not doing that, about not looking at my phone in bed.
[00:25:22] And for some reason, with the pandemic, I just kind of brought that habit back. I don't know why. And, um, I'm trying to, I'm, I've been doing a lot better with it in the mornings with not looking at my phone in the mornings. It's at night that I'm finding, that I'm reaching for my phone to like, look at Pinterest or something to wind down.
[00:25:41] And so now I'm trying to break that habit by introducing a new habit, which is reading a fiction book from my Kindle, which to me feels better than just scrolling Pinterest or scrolling Instagram. And, um, and this is something that James Clear talks about in his book, atomic Habits. And actually I'll link his book, um, in the show notes because it's such an awesome book that just, it talks about exactly what the title says.
[00:26:14] Just these small habits that we introduce in our lives in order to achieve bigger things, right? Like our, our. Don't get achieved overnight with big, giant leaps and bounds. It's these daily small habits that add up to really, really big results. So he talks about, again, what's a habit you want to break and can you replace it with something else?
[00:26:43] He also talks about this idea about removing resistance to make some AB habits easier, or by creating friction to. Other habits. So, you know, again, do you need to set your clothes out the night before? You know, make it easy, right? Remove resistance. So instead of like having to go get clothes out of the dryer every morning, which is something my husband would do if I stopped doing the laundry or if he was single, he would just leave all his clothes in the in, in the dryer and just fluff it every time he needed something.
[00:27:17] But if to make it easier, do you put out. Your workout clothes or your running clothes the night before in the bathroom so that you put them on as soon as you come out of the bathroom in the morning. Right? Or do you create friction by breaking other habits? So like Mel Robbins talks about leaving her cell phone in the bathroom at night, so she's not tempted to look at it in bed.
[00:27:42] So, and she's creating friction in order to break that habit. Maybe your goal is to. Increase your performance and your overall health. And so one action to support that goal could be drinking a gallon of water a day. Lots of evidence shows that dehydration negatively affects our cognitive function. So the next time you're feeling sluggish or you can't focus or remember something, put down the iced coffee and drink some water.
[00:28:11] My friend iced coffee is delicious and lovely and wonder. But you also need to drink some water. And so this is definitely one of the goals and the habits that I've developed over, really over the last year or so, I've been really focused on, on increasing my water consumption. And, and I'll admit that I, I definitely fall off this one.
[00:28:31] Like I'm really, really good for a couple of months and then I kind of fall off this one. But some of the habits that I have developed, or what I've noticed at least is whenever I. Keep up with these habits. It's way easier for me to keep up with my goal of drinking more water and one of these things is to fill up my water bottle each night before bed.
[00:28:52] So I went out and I actually got this enormous water bottle from Amazon. I'll actually, I'll link that in the show notes, show notes for you as well. I've actually shared that with a couple of people in my life and they've really enjoyed them. So it's like this huge gallon water bottle, which for me is great.
[00:29:09] And it has like these measurements on the side of, of the bottle. So it helps me like truly keep track of how much water that I'm drinking every day. And so every night I fill up the water bottle before bed because I drink a sleepy time tea, a calming tea to help me sleep. And it takes 10 minutes to steep.
[00:29:32] So while it's steeping, I fill up, I do a couple of other things, but I also fill up my water bottle because I don't know about you, but. Indoor refrigerator, indoor water thing takes forever to fill up any regular size glass, let alone a gallon size container. So, you know, I'll just kind of stand there for a few minutes while I know my tea is steeping.
[00:29:56] And so again, I fill up that water bottle each night before bed and I put it in the fridge so that whenever I get up in the morning, it's already ready to go and I can just grab it and go. Again, James Clear talks about this idea of habit stacking. So again, when I'm brewing that bedtime tea, I fill up the water bottle at the same time.
[00:30:12] And also when I'm brushing my teeth before bed, that's when I set out my workout clothes for the morning. So again, I'm hopefully, everyone has a habit of brushing their teeth every night before bed. So that's like a really easy habit that you could stack onto. Like what are some of the other things that you could be doing?
[00:30:32] Do you need to, do you. Set out your supplements or something like that, you know, or is that whenever you plug your phone in, in the bathroom and leave it there because that's a signal that you know you're almost ready for bed. Cause you're, all you're doing is just brushing your teeth and that's the last thing you do.
[00:30:46] So those are examples of habits that either you need to break, or habits that you need to add to your, your life and your daily routine in order to help support you in overcoming some of these obstacles. You achieving your goals. So my final point here around, uh, you know, what it is that we need to do to actually achieve these goals and, and what are, what are some of these roadblocks that we need to overcome?
[00:31:17] And I've already said this once today, but it's worth saying again, and that is that consistency in working towards our goals does not mean perfectionism, right? Or perfection. You are not always gonna stay perfectly on track. This is normal. We need to give ourselves some grace. We need to give ourselves some slack here because our goals are meant to challenge and stretch us.
[00:31:44] Otherwise, it's not much of a goal then. Right? And the trick is to recognize when you have fallen off or you feel like you're not giving your, given your goal enough attention, right? So if you're feeling that, if you're like, you know what, I'm just, I'm not really giving my goal enough attention. I'm not really making the.
[00:32:00] That I want to right now, and I know that it's because I'm not putting forth the effort and the attention that I can, and I'm able to. So if that's how you're feeling, I want you to ask yourself, where am I having resistance? What's happening right now that's kind of keeping me from wanting to pursue this goal in, in the way that I know I'm capable of?
[00:32:22] Right? How can I make this easy? This is one of my favorite questions to ask. How can I make this easy for. What is working towards this goal going to do for me right now? What will achieving this goal do for me later? And again, is this the right goal anymore? I want you to spend some time journaling through some of these questions.
[00:32:46] If you're, again, recognizing that you're, you are like, you know what? I do have the capacity for this goal. I do have the, all of the resources that I need to achieve this goal, but I'm just. Doing something with it right now. You know, why is that what's going on? And just kind of cycle through some of these journal questions and I'm curious to see what, what comes up for you.
[00:33:10] Because once you identify kind of what's, what that roadblock is, is it a mental roadblock that you've imposed on you or is there something in your environment or whatever you kind of come up. That's, that's preventing you from moving forward in the way that you want. Then you can figure out, okay, now how do I go tackle that?
[00:33:28] How do I go remove that roadblock? So you did it. You have set some amazing goals and you are on your way to achieving them. So let's recap all of the steps and main questions in those steps. So the first step to the upgraded goal setting process is to reflect how did the last year go? What worked? What didn't?
[00:33:56] What do I want more of? What do I want less of? The second step is setting that really clear. What is my vision for this next year? What does success look like to me and how will I know when I'm successful? Then based off that vision, then you identify those focus areas and those goals. So what are those few focus areas for this year that you want to really hone in on?
[00:34:25] What are those goals that are going to positively. Those focus areas and then ultimately support that vision. How will achieving those goals and realizing that vision do for me? What will achieving those goals in realizing that vision do for me, and what actions can I take to help me reach that goal and vision?
[00:34:49] Then the last step in this is the actual execution part. What are those potential roadblocks and habits? Do I need to. To overcome any of those roadblocks. What are the potential ways I self sabotage myself, and how could I fail? How could I fail? Here are some final thoughts as you march into this year, ready to upgrade your life and your career with these bright and shiny new goals.
[00:35:20] One is to only plan for 90 days in detail. Be flexible and adjust your goals or drop them all together when you need to. Remember that you are on your own journey and no one else's let go of what is not serving you anymore. Whether that is a whole goal that you just need to drop because it's not serving you, or it's a story that you're telling yourself or a belief that you have that's just not serving you.
[00:35:53] Remember that your worth is not tied to your achievements. You are a whole deserving human being that deserves everything, and it's not tied to if you achieve certain things in life or not. Remember that perfectionism is or perfection is not required for success, and rest is not a reward. Rest is part of that success formula.
[00:36:23] So thank you for listening and working through this whole series with me, and I hope you feel like you have laid out a, an amazing vision and goals for yourself for this upcoming year or for whatever time period you decided. And next week we're actually going to wrap up this entire series with talking about my personal, regular reflection and planning process.
[00:36:51] For regularly checking in with, with my goals and with myself, so it doesn't end here, right? So if we've set the goals and we've figured out the roadblocks and that's great. What, but again, how do we keep things going and how do we just regularly check in? And I've created this process, I've created a system around that as well.
[00:37:11] And I'm gonna share with you, share that with. Next week. And so that will be the final episode in the goal setting series.
